Guide Hachette 2013

We once again have the pleasure of seeing our Château Beauregard Mirouze Tradition Rosé 2011 mentioned in the  Guide Hachette  this year, with the attribution of one star.

“Pale in color with flashes of peony, lovely freshness on the nose accompanied by intense fruit,   soft and full in the mouth, with excellent balance and length;  in short, a most agreeable wine.  Will drink perfectly with grilled red mullet.”

Guide Hachette des vins 2013

Château Beauregard Mirouze Tradition rosé 2010 had already received one star in 2012 :  “This attractive wine catches your eye with its bright and luminous rose-petal pink aspect.   The powerful nose with its notes of redcurrant is absolutely delicious.  We find the aromas repeated on the palate which offers both vivacity and smoothness.  And to cap it all the finish is long, which is not often the case with rosés…..”

Nice reviews, no ? … I particularly like the words “intense fruit”, “full” and “luminous”.  I would add “lightness”, and there you would have a faithful picture of what we want to achieve with this Tradition Rosé.
